Let's Talk Service and Expectations!

Working in a service oriented industry it's the little things that set our team apart from other REALTORS. I'm not going to sit here and list them all out but we wouldn't be 'Top of Class' with RETURNING Clients, Friends and Family if we didn't provide outstanding service when Buying or Selling Real Estate.

Which leads me to this...

I recently had an unexpected experience when having my Wedding Ring Re-Sized. When it was all said and done my 'Expectations' were that I get my ring back Weighing the same. Yes, I had the Jeweller weigh my ring before the resizing was completed, expecting the weight to be the same upon return. Low and behold it wasn't; weighing in at .3 less then when dropped off. I soon learned it was "Industry Practice" that the Jeweller Cuts out the bottom of the ring to make it smaller, keeps the gold and then gives you back the ring. Instead of moulding the current ring back down to size.

Needless to say I was shocked, as they planned to keep the extra Gold and it was part of the cost of the Service. I was also being charged for the resizing of the ring. Lesson learned; Ask for YOUR Gold back.
